MEDFORD, MA — City Councilor Adam Knight is running for re-election in November. Knight, the current vice president of the Council, was first elected in 2013 and has served in several leadership roles over nearly a decade.

"I'm honored and privileged to have served the people of Medford since 2014, and I am humbled by their faith and confidence in me to represent their interests on the City Council," Knight said. "With the support of my wife Alison and sons Brendan and Ryan, I enthusiastically announce my candidacy for re-election to the Medford City Council. I remain as excited, energized and committed as my first day in office and look forward to running on my record of hard work, accomplishment, and leadership."

Knight said he is a "solid and unwavering supporter" of working families, leading the effort to establish Medford's Wage Theft and Responsible Employer Ordinances, the Inclusionary Affordable Housing Ordinance and zoning reform.
