MCC Youth / Young Adult Chorus (Medford Community Chorale (MCC))

The Medford Community Chorale is delighted to announce that their THiRD “virtual choir video, ” “The Sound of Music,” and SECOND youth / young adult chorus video, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing” are ready! Both videos, in addition to past performances, are available on the chorale’s Facebook page (“Medford Community Chorale”), their website (“medfordcommunitychorale.org”) and on YouTube (“Medford Community Chorale”).

The adult chorale welcomed 15 new video participants this time - including members who participated from California, Illinois, Washington D.C., and 3 folks from Abruzzo, Italy! - and the youth/young adult chorus welcomed 5 new participants! The chorale hopes that those who participated enjoyed their experience, and invites ANY adult or youth/young adult singer who would like to do so, to join them for the next video!

Director Betsy Pesce says that once again, this project has been a lot of work, but also continues to be a wonderful and fun learning experience for all concerned, and she extends her heartfelt appreciation to Julie Kelleher (technical director), Dr Holly Zagaria (accompanist), the youth chorus parents, all the wonderful singers who participated, and the group’s generous sponsors.
