Medford Girls' Cross Country Team Goes Undefeated, Wins GBL

MEDFORD, MA — The Medford High School girls' cross country team won the Greater Boston League championship. The Mustangs beat Revere High School to remain undefeated this season.

Coach Lou Ruggiero is now in his 40th season as the cross country coach. Assistant Coach Tom Lynch is set to be inducted into the Suffolk University Athletic Hall of Fame next week for his track achievements.

"Congratulations to all the Mustang Lady Runners!" the district said in a statement.
