The season's first dose of winter weather has hit Medford. Here's what you can expect for the afternoon commute.

The city of Medford experienced its first serving of winter weather this morning and police departments from all over the state attended to vehicle crashes due to the inclement conditions.
Luckily, it seems that residents are nearly out of the woods. The National Weather Service has removed its Winter Weather Advisory earlier than expected and conditions should start to clear up for the afternoon commute.

- Occasional rain is expected to fall until approximately 3:45 p.m. There is a 100 percent chance of precipitation until 1:00 p.m and a 65 percent chance of precipitation until 3:00 p.m. Temperatures will stay between 37 and 38 degrees.
- The rain is projected to subside at around 3:45 p.m. Forecasts call for cloudy skies and temperatures nearing the upper 30s and lower 40s until 11:00 p.m. There is a 30 percent chance of showers at 7:00 p.m.
