Medford Kids Kick Off Little League Opening Day With Red Sox

Little League Opening Day is part of the Red Sox Calling All Kids initiative.

MEDFORD, MA – Medford Little Leaguers Colin, 9, and Riley O’Keefe, 13, Ryan Bridges, 11, and Kaleigh Laldlaw, 12, joined the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park for Little League Opening Day on Wednesday, April 18. The teammates joined Red Sox mascots Wally and Tessie and 900 other young athletes to catch in the Fenway Park outfield, enjoy games in the Kids Concourse, walk the warning track and take photos in the Red Sox and visitor dugouts.

Little League Opening Day is a part of the Red Sox Calling All Kids initiative, which aims to provide greater access to Red Sox games, enhance kids experiences at Fenway Park, and celebrate and strengthen the game of baseball in the community.
