Medford Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Mass Pike

The 21-year-old died after his motorcycle struck a wall in Boston Tuesday, state police said.

MEDFORD, MA — A Medford man was killed in a motorcycle crash on the Mass Pike Tuesday, state police said.

The 21-year-old was driving a 2002 Kawasaki EX500 eastbound in Boston when it went from the right travel lane to the left lane, striking a wall on the left side.

The driver was taken to Tufts Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Police did not identify him by name.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police said speed is believed to be a "contributing factor."

The left side of I-90 East was closed for nearly two hours Tuesday following the crash.
