Medford Nurse Surprised With Pop-Up Dining Experience: WATCH
Chef Ming Tsai has been surprising people who have gone above and beyond during the COVID-19 pandemic with an at-home restaurant experience.
MEDFORD, MA — A Medford nurse was surprised with a pop-up dining experience by local chef Ming Tsai. Tsai has been treating people who have gone above and beyond during the coronavirus pandemic to an at-home restaurant experience.
His latest Bing Dong Dine – a play on Ding Dong Ditch – involved Jeanette, a pediatric intensive care unit nurse. Half of Jeanette's floor has been turned into a COVID-19 unit, and she cares for both pediatric and COVID-19 patients.
"We surprised Jeannette and her husband by giving them a date night," Tsai wrote on Instagram. "The least we could do for one of our healthcare heroes!"

This is Tsai's second Bing Dong Dine. He first surprised Paisley, a 5-year-old girl in Chelmsford who has been battling lymphoblastic leukemia for the last two years. Tsai said Paisley's "charisma and energy is an inspiration to the whole MingsBings team."
