Medford Public Library Seeking Art For Inaugural Installation

The library will unveil its first art show in the new building this fall.

MEDFORD, MA — The Charlotte and William Bloomberg Medford Public Library is looking for submissions for its first art show in the new building this fall.

Art may be oils, watercolor, textile art, photographs or any other wall-mounted medium. The show's theme is the Mystic River.

Selected submissions will be hung in late September/early October and will remain up through the end of the December.

Please send submissions to kkane@minlib.net or by mail to Kathleen Kane Medford Public Library 200 Boston Ave. Suite G-350 Medford, MA 02155. The deadline for submissions is July 16. Submission should include: images of the work, dimensions and description of the piece, and artist name/address/phone/email. Selections will be made in July.
