    Medford Jumpstart Instrumental Music Camp

The Medford Public Schools is offering a free 2-week camp this summer at Medford High School where Grade 4 through Grade 8 students can get a jumpstart on their band and orchestra instruments.   Instrumental music was limited this past year because of COVID and this camp will help students jumpstart their success in the program.   Students will strengthen their musical skills and techniques while covering topics including note-reading, rhythm skills, sight reading, tuning/intonation and instrumental terminology.

Click here for more information and here to register online by June 30.

    MPS Sports Update

  • I thank Toni Wray & the nursing team who provided necessary COVID testing to keep our athletes safe, as well as, AD Bob Maloney, Asst AD Rachel Perry, Trainer Dr. Kathryn Calpino and all the coaches who worked hard to make MHS athletics a reality during this COVID year.

CCSR Highlighted in Five for Good

Medford Public School’s own CCSR, Center for Citizenship and Social Responsibility continues to get noticed for the incredible impact it makes on our students as well as on the community at large.  This week, they were highlighted in a segment on WCVB’s Five for Good segment.  We are also very thankful for the recent $350,000 grant from the Cummings Foundation which will help the CCSR continue its work with our students.

I thank all of our teachers, students, caregivers, staff and partners in the community for working so hard to have a successful school year.  My wish is for all of you to have a relaxing, fun summer and to find time to recharge with your loved ones.

    Yours in Partnership for Children,

    Dr. Marice Edouard-Vincent
