Medford Receives Winter Weather Advisory

The Winter Weather Advisory will last from 8:00 p.m. Monday to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Medford.

The advisory will last from 8:00 p.m. on Monday night until Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Snow accumulations are expected to total between one to two inches. Gusts are expected to reach 30 miles per hour and temperatures will be in the lower thirties.

Monday night’s forecast currently projects temperatures of 25 degrees, and a 90 percent chance of snow in the evening. Tuesday’s forecast projects a high of 38 degrees with a 100 percent chance of precipitation. A wintry mix is expected in the morning and precipitation will turn into rain later in the day.

The NWS says that roads will become slick and visibility will be greatly reduced to around one quarter mile or less at times.
