Medford Restaurant Unique To Area Shuts Down
A restaurant that was one of the only of its kind in greater Boston has closed after a year.
MEDFORD, MA — A restaurant that introduced a new type of cuisine to the area has shut down. Egyptian eatery Baity has a sign on its Spring Street storefront saying it is "closed permanently," Boston Restaurant Talk reported.
Baity, which opened last spring near the Fellsway Plaza, was one of the only Egyptian restaurants in greater Boston. The menu consisted of certified halal meats and includes options like wraps, burgers and Mediterranean appetizers. It also featured a catering option and partnered with pickup and delivery company Slice, which works with pizza businesses.
Baity was located at 84 Spring St.
