Medford Schools Plan High School Graduation, More Student Events

The district has tentatively scheduled an in-person graduation ceremony for June.

MEDFORD, MA — The Medford Public Schools has scheduled a high school graduation ceremony and is "optimistically" planning more events for seniors, Superintendent Marice Edouard-Vincent said Friday.

Graduation will be held June 2 at Hormel Stadium. There are also tentative plans for prom and other outdoor activities for students.

This comes as the district set a new benchmark for its COVID-19 testing program, marking more than 3,000 tests without a single positive last week. Students and staff are urged to continue to wear their masks, practice social distancing and stay home if they are feeling unwell.
