MEDFORD, MA — Students in grades 6-12 at the Andrews and McGlynn Middle Schools and Medford High School will be in person four days this week as the district prepares to return to full in-person learning across all levels.
Following April break, middle and high schoolers will be back in class five days a week starting Monday, April 26. Students who have elected to remain in Cohort D will continue remote for the remainder of the year.
Coronavirus cases were up in Medford last week, and there were four positive tests out of 3,863 in the Medford Public Schools. Superintendent Marice Edouard-Vincent said Friday the district is "confident" the cases are not the result of in-school transmission.
