Medford Street Sweeping Returns In April: Schedule, Parking Rules

MEDFORD, MA — Street sweeping on Medford's main roads will return April 1. The city conducts street sweeping in two ways: bi-weekly sweeping of "main drags" and a bi-annual sweep of secondary/side streets.

Side streets are typically swept once in May and once in November. Sweeping of main roads starts in April and runs through Oct. 31.

Street sweeping takes place from midnight to 7 a.m. Cars parked in locations marked for street sweeping will be subject to enforcement, including ticketing and towing.
