Medford Update On Post-Snow Trash Pickup

MEDFORD, MA – The city of Medford updated residents Tuesday on the trash and recycling pickup schedule in the wake of last week's storm. Residents who did not have their trash and recycling picked up on their scheduled day last week will have it collected on their next scheduled trash or recycle day.

Those who have excess trash will be allowed to place additional standard trash bags for pickup without purchase this week only. Additional trash must still be bagged properly, tied tightly and placed curbside next to Waste Management bins, officials said.

The Christmas tree pickup schedule will remain the same this week.
