Medford's Krystle Campbell Softball Tournament This Weekend
The fifth annual tournament will raise money for a scholarship in Krystle Campbell's name.

MEDFORD, MA – Medford will hold its fifth Krystle Campbell Softball Tournament this Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15 at Columbus Park behind Columbus Elementary School, 37 Hicks Ave. The tournament will begin with an opening ceremony and a member of the Campbell family throwing out the first pitch.
Medford High alum Campbell died in the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, 2013. She was 29. Since then, the school's softball team has honored the former player by raising money for the Krystle Campbell Medford Strong Spirit Award at Medford High School.
The softball teams will hold a raffle and run a concession stand for attendees. The weekend will end with "A Night With Jimmy Plunket," which will include dancing and more fundraising.

Winners game: 10 am
