Beginning this Friday, September 20th, the City of Medford will produce ‘Riverside Plaza Nights’, a free three-week series of concerts at the Riverside Plaza on Riverside Avenue in Medford Square. Attendees are invited to purchase takeout meals from local Medford Square restaurants and head to the plaza to enjoy some relaxing music by local artists.
All concerts will take place from 6:30-8:00 PM. Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs or make use of the many seats and tables available at the plaza.

Friday, September 20th
Rose Polenzani and Noam Weinstein: Medford’s own Rose Polenzani is an acclaimed singer/songwriter who has toured with The Indigo Girls, Joan Baez, and David Gray. She often performs solo, but also collaborates with other performers on projects such Sub Rosa. Noam Weinstein is originally from Cambridge, and has been performing throughout New England and beyond for decades. His songs can be heard on many local radio stations and on television shows.
Friday, September 27th
Kali Stoddard-Imari: Originally from Vermont but now based in the Boston area, Kali is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and looping artist. He performs and tours regularly throughout New England, and has shared the stage with artists like Shawn Colvin, Marc Cohn, Adam Ezra, and Martin Sexton.
Friday, October 4th
Laura Brereton and Kelly Riley: Laura Brereton is a singer/songwriter and teacher located here in Medford. She runs the Medford Music Studio, and is also active in the Medford arts community. She often performs with her husband, guitarist Raleigh Green, who will be joining her and Kelly for this performance. Kelly Riley is an award-winning singer/songwriter and Berklee grad. She performs throughout New England with her band, and was also one of the founding members of the Porch Party Mamas. She has had songs placed in commercials and television shows, and has opened for artists such as Willie Nelson and Lyle Lovett.
