Medford's Top 10 Fastest Men And Women: Boston Marathon Results

MEDFORD, MA — This year some 75 Medford residents signed up to run the Boston Marathon's 26.2 miles. But how did they fare in Monday's crazy weather? They're all heroes in our book, but the top finishers deserve a shoutout.

Robert Lamarre, 25, was Medford's fastest Boston Marathoner this year with a finishing time of 2:40:31. That's a pace of about 6:08 per mile – for over 26 miles. The fastest woman was 24-year-old Shannon Trant, who finished the race with a time of 3:02:27. That's a pace of 6:58 per mile.
