Medford Obituary: Efrain Alejandro Gonzalez-Zamora, 27

MEDFORD, MA – Efrain Alejandro Gonzalez-Zamora passed away suddenly in a tragic accident on Saturday, July 21st, he was 27. Born in Cambridge, he was the cherished son of Aura Marina Gonzalez-Zamora and Jorge Efrain Gonzalez Perez and adored step son of Angel Avila. Raised in Medford, Alejandro attended Medford schools. He was the irreplaceable best friend and partner of Leny B. Alfaro-Gonzalez of Somerville. Devoted brother of Carlos Gonzalez Zamora, Raul Gonzalez Zamora, Ricardo Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez, Sara Gonzalez, Efrain Gonzalez, Lilian Gonzalez, Jhosimar Albarca and James Shippee.

Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Square) Somerville on Sunday, July 29th from 2:30PM – 5:00PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 30th in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford at 10:00AM. Services will conclude with a committal at Woodlawn Crematory, Everett.
