Obituary: Virginia M. Hayes, Medford Native

MEDFORD, MA – Virginia M. Hayes died on Monday, March 19, at Essex Park Rehab in Beverly. Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Geraldine (Cosgrove) Hayes.

Virginia was the devoted mother Kelly Calnan and Timothy Cogan, both of Marblehead, and the loving grandmother of Michael and Sean Calnan. She was the dear sister of Maryellen Molander of Tewksbury, Ann "Nancy" Bowers of Woburn and her late husband Ronald, Robert Hayes and his wife Helen of Wilmington, Deborah Leone and her husband Guy of Medford, and the late Leo Hayes Jr. Virginia is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 24, at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, from 4 through 7 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
