Online Training For You and Your Sweet Dog

While awaiting the vaccine vaccine, you can train your dog in an online session from the comfort of your home.

Online training works very much the same way as in-person training does. We’ll start by meeting together (on Zoom) to discuss your dog’s behavior and your goals. You’ll simply need a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or computer with a webcam, and an Internet connection.

Afterwards, we’ll set up further sessions and I’ll create a training plan using science-based, incremental steps to address your training goals.

During our online training sessions, I’ll demonstrate what we are working on, just like I would in person — on my dog, of course. Above, I am demonstrating “Touch” to help guide a dog to their person’s hand. Touch is a very simple and very useful behavior for a dog to know.

Then, it’s your turn to work with your dog. I’ll watch carefully, coaching your technique and moving us briskly through our training plan to create behavior that works for you and your dog.

All in the comfort of your own home! No need to wear a mask or worry about being 6' away from others, no need to bundle the dog into a car, tidy the house for the trainer’s visit, or get a babysitter for the kids. With online training, the whole family can be present, too. I’ll record our session so you can watch during the week while you practice, if you wish.
