Overnight Fire Breaks Out At Medford Home

MEDFORD, MA — Firefighters brought a blaze under control on Burget Avenue overnight. Neighbors reported the fire, which broke out at an unoccupied home shortly after midnight, the fire department said.

Crews found heavy flames showing from the first floor of the home. The fire was quickly contained in the room where it originated, the fire department said.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
