Pedestrian Fatally Struck On I-93 In Medford

MEDFORD, MA — A woman was fatally hit by one or more vehicles on I-93 in Medford, state police said. Troopers received a report of a body near Exit 32 on I-93 North just after midnight Sunday.

The victim, 22 years old, had gotten out of her friend's car on the highway. She was then struck and killed by one or more vehicles, state police said.

Investigators are still trying to find descriptions of the vehicles involved. Police are also investigating why the woman left her friend's car.
