The Medford tree warden, DPW and Brooks custodial staff helped ensure exposed roots did not cause a safety problem.
MEDFORD, MA – City environmental officials and staffers at Brooks Elementary recently worked to save two campus trees before they posed a safety hazard.
Tree Warden Aggie Tuden, Department of Public Works staff and custodian Angelo Amico and Michelle McGonigal collaborated on a project to preserve the trees, whose roots had become exposed.
The uprooted trees posed a potential safety hazard to children, and their restoration helped to beautify the school.
