MEDFORD, MA — Police responded to Tufts University Friday after a threat was called in on campus.
Patrick Collins, a spokesperson for the university, said an unidentified person claimed to be in one of the residential halls with weapons.
"There are no credible threats to the university, and no evidence that the caller is on or near campus," Collins wrote in an email to Patch. "Out of an abundance of caution, the university conducted a search of buildings in the residential quad area."
