Retired Medford Police Officer Francis Shea Passes Away
"Franny" Shea was a 33-year veteran of the Medford Police Department, retiring in 2001.
MEDFORD, MA — Retired Medford police officer Francis "Franny" Shea passed away Christmas Eve, the Medford Police Department announced over the weekend. He was 82 years old.
Shea retired in 2001 after 33 years with the Medford Police Department. He lived in Medford for 55 years and was a Life Member of the Irish American Association in Malden.
Shea is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maureen, three children and two grandchildren.
