Man Arrested for Pointing Gun at Motorist in Medford
Gary Pimental, 20, was arrested near Mystic Avenue after police found him to be in possession of a replica firearm.

A motorist was arrested in Medford Tuesday afternoon for allegedly pointing a gun at another driver following a road rage incident, the Massachusetts State Police said.
Gary Pimental, 20, of Charlestown, was handcuffed at the scene and charged with disorderly conduct and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Around 4:30 p.m., Medford police responded to the ramp of Route 93 northbound to Mystic Avenue after receiving a phone call from the victim. Officer Danny D’Amica stopped Pimental, who was driving a Honda Accord. D’Amica phoned state police for assistance at the scene.

Officers searched the vehicle and found Pimental to be in possession of a replica firearm with the orange tip painted black, police said.
Pimento was transported to the state police barracks in Medford, where he was booked and is being held pending release on bail.

He will be arraigned in Somerville District Court on Thursday.
