Rock And Roll HOFers Cheap Trick To Play Medford Show

The legendary rock group, known for hits like "Surrender" and "I Want You To Want Me," is coming to the Chevalier Theatre in February.

MEDFORD, MA — Legendary rock group Cheap Trick is coming to Medford's Chevalier Theatre Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Formed in 1973, the Illinois-based group is known for hits like "Surrender" and "I Want You To Want Me." The show will feature the majority of Cheap Trick's original lineup: Robin Zander (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar) and Tom Petersson (bass guitar). Nielsen's son, Daxx, has toured with the band on drums since 2010.

Over its decades-long run, the band has totaled over 20 million record sales and more than 40 international gold and platinum certifications. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.

"I don’t ever see us quitting," Zander said in a prepared release. "We're not cut out for sitting around and watching TV."

The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $39-$275.
