Saturday: Medford's 7th Annual Harvest Your Energy Festival

The community event is centered on environmental sustainability and renewable energy.

MEDFORD, MA – Join your neighbors this Saturday for Medford's 7th Annual Harvest Your Energy Festival, a community even focused on all things environmental sustainability and renewable energy.

From 12 to 3 p.m. behind McGlynn Elementary School, at the base of Medford's wind turbine, the city will host $25 TV recycling, $15 monitor recycling, free recycling for all other electronics and fabric and shoe recycling.

The festival also features attractions, such as "canoemobiles" on the Mystic River, performances by Alastair Moock and Trail Mix, tours of the wind turbine, a bicycle stunt rider, live animals from the Stone Zoo and a free raffle.
