School Budget Hearing Slated For June 9
Medford Public Schools are requesting a comparatively modest chunk of extra money to function optimally.

A hearing will be conducted on Tuesday, June 9, at 7 p.m. at Medford City Hall, regarding the 2016 city school budget, according to Inside Medford.
Evidently, Medford Schools are asking for a bit more money next year.
The source reports that the schools are slated to receive almost $53 million in 2016, which is almost $2 million more than is allocated in the city’s budget.

To put that in perspective, the entire city is collectively asking $5 million more next year than it was given to function in 2015.
