Walk-In Vaccine Clinics For Medford Residents Thursday

Two sites in Medford are accepting residents for walk-ins today.

MEDFORD, MA — There are two walk-in clinics open to Medford residents Thursday.

The Gantcher Center at Tufts University is accepting walk-ins from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until supplies run out. The Gantcher Center is located at 161 College Avenue. Anyone 16 years or older is eligible for the vaccine, but those under 18 need parental consent.

Another clinic will be held at Medford High School, 489 Winthrop St., from 3-5 p.m. for anyone age 16 or older who lives or works in Medford. Participants under 18 will also need parental consent. Patients should enter through the gym entrance.

Two mass vaccination sites also opened this week as part of a collaboration between Tufts University, the Cambridge Health Alliance and nine communities, including Medford. Another site is expected to open next week.
