WATCH: Medford Breaks Ground on Krystle Campbell Peace Garden

The City recently unveiled plans to honor those who were killed in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and aftermath.

The City of Medford broke ground on the Krystle Campbell Peace Garden early this month, unveiling plans to honor those who were killed in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and aftermath.

The memorial will honor all of them bombing victims. It will include commemorative plaques for Medford native Campbell, Lingzi Lu, MIT Officer Sean Collier and Martin Richard.

Hundreds, including victims’ families and survivors, gathered for the ceremony in front of the Senior Center in Medford Square. Jeff Bauman, Patrick and Jessica Downes, and Paul Norden were among many victims who attended the event.
