ICYMI: Winter Weather Parking Information for Medford

With winter weather afoot, parking is likely to become a hassle for Woburn residents. Although this storm is not likely to produce much accumulation, residents should be aware of the city’s parking laws when Old Man Winter comes to town and a snow emergency is called.

Parking is only allowed on the odd-numbered side of the street and is determined by the year the regulations begin on during the winter. In this winter’s case, 2015 is an odd-numbered year designating the odd-numbered side of the street as the side to park on. The Chief of Police can suspend parking on both sides if there is a traffic or safety issue. 

If a snow emergency is called, dual-sided parking will be restricted.
