The MAAV Walk looked a little different this year, but all of us at MAAV were so thrilled to see how the community turned out in force. For our socially-distanced 25th Annual Walk Against Violence, people walked the traditional route around Ell Pond individually, with friends, family, small groups or organizations.

The event raised awareness about domestic violence and over $50,000 for MAAV to continue their outreach and prevention programs.

The socially-distanced Walk was held over the weekend of October 24-25. Our Candlelight Vigil, which honors the memory of the victims of domestic violence homicide in our state, was streamed on Sunday, October 18 and can be viewed on Youtube.
