Patch: How did you get involved with the automotive industry?

Jaime: My father was mechanically inclined and would work on cars for our family and friends. I started assisting him and learning from him at a young age. I went to a technical high school for automotive repair and have been working in the field ever since.

Manny: I started working on cars with my dad and then with my brother Jaime.

Patch: What services does Certified Automotive Solutions offer?

Jaime: We offer a wide range of services from routine vehicle maintenance to complete engine overhaul: Oil changes, transmission services, heating & cooling repair, brake service, and tires. We service domestics & imports.

Patch: What is your definition of success?

Jaime: Spending time with family and friends and doing something you love.

Manny: I define success as the ability to meet the goals you set out for yourself.

Jaime: "The Gift of Fear" by Gavin DeBecker, "Killing the Rising Sun" by Bill O'Reilly and "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie.

Manny: "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey, "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie and The Bible.

Patch: Can you tell us a little bit about your staff and their background?

Jaime: We hold Car Care Clinics – free hands on workshop where participants learn important skills such as how to jump start a car, check their tire pressure, check their fluids, etc.
