94-Unit Luxury Apartment Complex Opens in Melrose

A 94-unit luxury apartment complex is now open in Melrose, which was recently rated the hottest zip code in the United States.

The upscale residential building, appropriately named 2 Washington, recently opened its doors at 2 Washington Street. The housing complex features 94 one-and-two bedroom apartments, a 24-hour fitness center, clubroom, rooftop deck, outdoor spaces, and covered bicycle storage.

2 Washington is centrally located. It sits about seven miles from downtown Boston. The transit-oriented development provides access to the I-93, the Orange Line and the commuter rail.

The building was developed by Atlanta-based Wood Partners.
