The Melrose Rotary Club got the Melrose Emergency Fund’s holiday fund-raising season off to a roaring start with a donation of $3,000 worth of heating oil. “This is one of the most important needs in our community, and I want to thank the Rotary Club for making a generous contribution. Our goal is that no one go cold or hungry this winter, and this gift goes a long way toward making that dream a reality.”

To make a donation, send a check to Melrose Emergency Fund, Mayor’s Office, 562 Main St., Melrose, MA 02176 or bring it directly to the Mayor’s Office on the second floor of City Hall. Checks should be made out to the City of Melrose, with “Melrose Emergency Fund” in the memo line. For more information about the fund, call 781-979-4440.
