Biggest Home For Sale In MA: Price Dropped $52M Last 3 Years
Despite the massive price cut, Reebok founder Paul Fireman's Chestnut Hill estate is still the most expensive for sale in Massachusetts.
BROOKLINE, MA — While bigger doesn't always necessarily mean better, this does make some sense. The home for sale that offers the most square footage in Massachusetts is also the priciest on the market, even after the asking price was cut by more than half.
Reebok founder Paul Fireman's eight-bedroom estate in Chestnut Hill boasts 26,623 square feet on realtor.com, the largest in the state. It's also saddled with a $38 million price tag, which is also the largest in the state.
The home, which has been around for 20 years now, hit the market in 2016 with a $90 million asking price. That dropped to $69 million in 2018 and to its current price in February of this year.
