Ethel Merman’s Broadway, the tribute musical to one of Broadway’s most iconic singers, is going to be performed at Stoneham Theatre from Aug. 21-Aug. 24.
The show includes songs from hit musicals that Merman once starred in, such as “There’s No Business Like Show Business” from Annie Get Your Gun, “I Get a Kick Out of You” from Anything Goes, and “World, Take Me Back” from Hello, Dolly!

Rita McKenzie, who portrayed the iconic singer in the show’s original 1988 off-Broadway run, will reprise the role.
“Rita is absolutely the best, and it’s a thrilling night,” Hello, Dolly! lyricist and composer Jerry Herman said. “I want everybody out there to come and see this. Because if you want to know what Ethel Merman was really like, it will never get any better than this.”
