The next Music in Melrose Coffeehouse will be held on Thursday, Nov. 11, at the Church of the Nazarene, 2 Short St., in Melrose.
Co-hosted by Janet Feld and Melrose's Howie Newman, the open mike runs from 7-10 p.m. CDs by Newman and Feld can be borrowed from the Melrose Public Library.
Singer-songwriter David Rothberg (www.myspace.com/davidrothbergmusic) will play a 30-minute set at 8:20 p.m. Rothberg's music is best described as classic or folk rock with a pop sensibility.

Musicians are invited to play two songs or 10 minutes. Admission is $4 ($3 for seniors and students) and that includes free refreshments (courtesy of Starbucks and Breads 'n' Bits of Ireland) plus a chance to win a CD.
