City hall is teaming up with the Melrose Americans baseball team starting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night for some family entertainment as the team takes on the Reading Bulldogs.
The city's recreation department will be on hand serving free slush and providing face painting, a bounce house, and several other in-game contests.
“I think everyone who attended the first family night on the 10th saw a great baseball game with the Americans winning in their last at bat," Mayor Robert Dolan said in a statement.
