SAUGUS, MA — The left two lanes of Route 1 South have been reopened after being closed for about an hour prior to the Lynn Fells Parkway for a low-hanging wire, State Police said.

There were severe backups from the Barnes & Noble plaza to I-95. traffic is beginning to clear.
