Jitters Cafe Celebrates One-Year Anniversary in Melrose on Wednesday

Here are five things to know on Wednesday, Oct. 16 in Melrose:

1. Wednesday mark's the one-year anniversary for Jitters Cafe, 12 Main St. The cafe is offering a 25 percent discount on purchases made Monday, Oct. 14 through Friday, Oct. 18, according to an announcement on Melrose Patch.

2. The Melrose Traffic Commission to meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 in the Aldermanic Chamber at City Hall, according to the city website.

3.  The Melrose Board of Assessors will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 in the Assessors Office at City Hall, according to the city website.

4. It is expected to be partly sunny on Wednesday, with temperatures reaching a high in the mid-60s before dipping to an overnight low in the mid-50s.

5. Second graders from Winthrop Elementary School will be visiting Melrose Public Library from 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the library website.
