Melrose Earns Super Bowl Berth

The undefeated Red Raiders will play at Gillette Stadium for the state title.

MELROSE, MA — Isaac Seide has no problem carrying the ball to the end zone. He doesn't have a problem carrying his team to the Super Bowl, either. Seide ran for well over 100 yards and two touchdowns as Melrose topped Hopkinton, 22-8, Saturday afternoon at Weymouth for the right to represent Eastern Massachusetts in the Division 4 Super Bowl.

The undefeated Red Raiders will play Nashoba Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. at Gillette Stadium for the state title.

Hopkinton, which statistically boasted Eastern Mass.'s top defense, suffered its first loss of the season.
