Melrose Football Rolls Past Waltham

The Red Raiders are now 2-0 on the young season!

MELROSE, MA — The Red Raiders exploded for six touchdowns in a road romping of Waltham Friday night, coasting to a 42-7 victory for Melrose's second win in as many weeks to start the season.

Since Melrose was tied 6-6 at halftime against Masconomet in Week 1, the Raiders have outscored their opponents 66-7.

Michael Fennell scored his second touchdown in as many weeks, quarterback Charlie Stanton ran and threw for one, and Ray Guilty scored twice, including an 87-yard jaunt, according to Boston 25.
