Melrose Gets Chance To Sound Off On MBTA's Proposed Cuts
The MBTA is holding a public hearing for the area Tuesday, less than a week before the cuts are scheduled to be voted on.

MELROSE, MA — Residents this week will get a chance to voice their displeasure at the MBTA's proposal to gut the city of multiple public transportation options.
The MBTA's series of public hearings will focus on the region including Melrose on Tuesday, Dec. 1. The meeting is at 6 p.m. Those interested in attending can sign up here. People can also send feedback to publicengagement@mbta.com.
The MBTA is proposing to eliminate the Cedar Park commuter rail station and the 131 and 136 buses.
