Melrose Man Arrested on Warrants
At 4:51 p.m. Aug. 29, Melrose Police responded to Parkerson Residence on Ashland Street to provide a caller assistance with a tenant. Paul Mooney, 65, of 113 Ashland St. Apt. #2, Melrose, was arrested on two warrants.

Aug. 29
9:28 a.m.: Lynn Fells Parkway, report of ID fraud.

11:45 a.m.: Melrose Shell gas station, report of past larceny.
2:33 p.m.: Brunswick Park at Melrose Street, report of a minor motor vehicle accident.
7:40 p.m.: Walk-in report of damage done to a vehicle parked on Summer Street.
11:16 p.m.: East Emerson Street, report of damage to a house.
Aug. 30
12:29 a.m.: West Wyoming Avenue at Main Street, report of a motor vehicle accident.
7:45 a.m: West Emerson Street at Essex Street, off-duty officer reported motor vehicle accident.
7:48 a.m.: Mount Hood Clubhouse, worker reported of trash dumping at the golf course.
8:17 a.m.: Swains Pond Road, report of vandalism to property.
8:22 a.m.: Lynn Fells Parkway at Bellevue Avenue, report of hypodermic needles found in the area. Needles were reportedly recovered and disposed of properly.
12:37 p.m.: Walk-in report of a bicycle stolen from Mount Vernon Street.
1:09 p.m.: Vinton Street, report of a possible breaking and entering. Suspect information was reportedly sent out to area police agencies, and Somerville Police was called.
6:16 p.m.: Hoover School on Glendower Road, report of vandalism to the school garden.
6:30 p.m.: East Wyoming Avenue at Summer Street, report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident. A 32-year-old Melrose woman was summonsed on charges of unlicensed operation of a vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage.
8:21 p.m.: Walk-in report of a bicycle stolen from Main Street.
Aug. 31
8:31 a.m.: East Foster Street at Dell Avenue, reports of a motor vehicle accident.
5:19 p.m.: Main Street, State Police contacted Melrose Police about an accident on Main Street.
6:10 p.m.: Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School on Lynn Fells Parkway, report of vandalism to property.
6:39 p.m.: Paul's Fashion in Hair on Main Street, report of a cell phone stolen.
