Melrose Memorial Hall to host Chili Chowder Bowl 2014 on Sunday, according to an event posting on Melrose Patch.
The event is slated for 12-4 p.m. Jan. 26. A $10 donation to Operation Gettysburg Club includes chowder, chili and soup donated by local organizations and restaurants.
"The Operation Gettysburg Club aims to send Melrose veterans to experience the Gettysburg battlefield and restore important Melrose Civil War monuments," reads the posting.
