Melrose Snow Updates: What You Need To Know
We're keeping you up to date with all weather-related issues in Melrose, including a parking ban and school closings.

MELROSE, MA — If you haven't heard, a snowstorm is upon us. The potential for 12-18 inches of snow and wind gusts of at least 50 miles per hour will be followed by chill factors around 15 or 20 degrees below zero. - There will be an on-street parking ban beginning Thursday at noon.
- Melrose Public Schools will be canceled Thursday, but there is no word yet on Friday's classes. Malden and Medford are among the nearby towns to have already called off school both days.
- City Hall will be closed and all operations will be moved to the Storm Operations Center. You can reach that at 781-665-0142.
- Starbucks is among those closed today! Jitters is open until 1 if you need a morning coffee boost, but hurry.
- The Library and Council on Aging will be closed.
