Melrose Tops Marblehead, Will Play For Super Bowl Berth
In a battle of undefeateds, the Red Raiders came out on top.
MELROSE, MA — The Red Raiders are the Division 4 North champions after holding on to beat Marblehead, 28-20, Friday night at a frigid Fred Green Field. Isaac Seide rushed for nearly 250 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.
For Melrose, that's 10 straight wins to start the season. Next up is Division 4 South winner Hopkinton. The winner of that game will go on to Gillette Stadium Dec. 2 to play the Division 4 Central champions in the Div. 4 Super Bowl.
Marblehead, which came in at 9-0, suffered its first loss of the season.
